For those using their van as a mobile workshop, it's often necessary to perform small assembly, repair, or welding tasks directly on the vehicle. To maintain the same level of professionalism as a fixed workshop—even when working on-site or at the customer's location—it’s essential to have a vice that offers a grip as firm as that of a traditional bench vice. Syncro System addresses this need by offering not only a selection of vices, but more importantly, a full range of vice holders. These accessories are crucial for securely mounting the tool to the vehicle’s body and interior setup.

The pull-out vice holder consists of a sturdy steel frame that fits horizontally between two furniture components (for example, between a drawer unit and a wheel arch cover, or between two shelving units). The central pull-out section features a resin-coated wooden worktop with stainless steel side reinforcements. Two locking devices ensure the structure remains stable. When not in use, the system fully retracts inside the unit, eliminating any obstruction. Extraction is quick and easy. An extendable support can be added to this model for extra stability.

The two models of folding vice holders are mounted directly onto the side of a cabinet inside the van, near a side or rear door. Made entirely of metal, they are easy to open thanks to an external handle. The movement is assisted by two gas springs and precision-turned metal pins. The PM4 folding support is particularly suitable for smaller vans, as—unlike the larger PM3 model—it doesn’t require an extendable leg for ground support.

Once your van is equipped with the most suitable vice holder for your needs, Syncro System experts can recommend one of the parallel steel vices from the Syncro range, or a folding pipe vice for threading pipes up to 3 inches in diameter.
