With ULTRASILENT, Syncro System has set a new standard in the evolution of roof transport systems. The goal was to significantly reduce the disturbance caused by vibrations and noise while driving. This goal was successfully achieved, as the new profile improves noise reduction by 50% compared to the previous Supersilent4 model. The secret lies in the phenomenon known as the “Von Karman vortex street,” named after the engineer who discovered it: when air hits a blunt object, it creates vortices that cause the object to vibrate due to pressure fluctuations. By changing the profile shape from flat to serrated, this effect is effectively countered, dramatically improving performance.
At Syncro System centers, customers can choose from roof bars with or without side stops, or multifunction systems with anti-slip edges and a rear roller to facilitate the loading and unloading of goods onto the roof. The highlight of Syncro’s offering is the ladder racks: available in two versions, both with a single or double rail option. The tilting model is ideal for lower vans and reduces operator effort, while the drop-down model, thanks to a special gas spring and dedicated shock absorber, allows the rail to be lowered all the way to the ground effortlessly. Syncro System also provides practical tube holders with an opening flap, the ideal solution for the safe transport of pipes and long objects. All these systems are designed to be modular: they can be adapted to the customer’s needs and, in the event of a vehicle replacement, can be easily dismounted and reinstalled on the new van by simply changing the roof attachments.
